It was a rainy day today because of Ike. The girls saw that it was going to rain all day and decided they needed to play in their "boats" in order to stay dry. They had a great time pretending to ride the waves from the storm in their boats.
Notice they both remembered their babies and food and blankets for the babies while they were in the boat.
Surprisingly, their boats were good entertainment for most of the morning! Fun things can happen when you're stuck in the house in the rain =)
During Elliana's morning nap, the rain stopped for a bit so we took Avery out to ride her bike. She decided that in order to get out of her boat, she was going to need to put a life jacket on. Good thinking right?
Although the rain has been great, I'm not sure the "boats" will be all that exciting by tomorrow. Maybe Ike will have moved on by then?!!
